Orange Shirt Day & National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Orange shirt day, on September 28th, is a movement that officially began in 2013. It was designed to educate people and promote awareness about the Indian residential school system and the impact this system had on Indigenous communities for more than a century in Canada.
Monday October 2nd is National Truth and Reconciliation Day, school is not in session.
Please wear an orange shirt (or something orange) to school on Wednesday, Sept. 28th.
