The Great Repurpose Project

During the next few months or so we will be participating in an ADST (Applied Design, Skills and Technologies) challenge called:THE GREAT RE-PURPOSE PROJECT that inspires the students to repurpose recyclable materials and encourages collaboration, creativity and imagination.  Construction as well as Deconstruction will be emphasized during the project.

We are requesting your help to please send in any materials you may not be using at home, such as:

  • Egg cartons –  Containers
  • Tissue boxes
  • Cloth, Fabric, Old Clothing
  • Toilet paper rolls
  • Newspaper, Magazines
  • Boxes –  Packaging
  • Cereal boxes
  • Styrofoam
  • Wire, Yarn, String
  • Other materials

Please send items to school with your child as soon as possible.  We encourage you to speak to your child about his/her ideas, process, construction and learning.  We encourage families to attend our school wide celebration of learning by going to your child’s classroom on Thursday
November 23rd 2017 between 1:15-2:30.  We look forward to seeing you.
